Woxy’s 2006 Modern Rock 500 revisited

Sadly, yesterday was Woxy’s last day on air. I’ve been meaning to run the 2006 list through the same script as I did last year but never got around to it because I thought it would be rad to add some extra processing to compare the lists. And that sounded like a lot of work.

I finally let the script do its magic without a bunch of extra stats. I did bold the bands new since last year. Even that proved a bit complicated due to discrepancies in spelling and the use of “The” to preface band names. I think I caught the all though.

2006 Modern Rock 500 revisited: four less bands, six more albums. Thanks Woxy for another great list and so many hours of great music.
