Balmy is a gross word

No matter how many times I hear the word balmy in reference to “beautiful” weather, it connotes nothing but grey skies and humidity. It’s the a-l-m-y letter combination that does it. There is no stopping grossness of that sequence.

The b is just fine though.

   i always kind of liked it. same with “musty”.

   I’m down with musty – it sounds appropriate for its meaning. If it meant fresh or pleasant I’d totally against it.
